In the pool area at Ryans Lolas, Sr. X brought his universe of stencils, dark humour and pop culture to the wall.

SR. X
Sr. X was born in Galicia in the early 1980s. He began taking his ideas to the streets some years ago, trying, even if only for a moment, to make city dwellers stop, reflect or simply smile when they encountered his work, briefly pulling them away from their daily routine.
Pop culture, films, advertising and urban legends are some of his sources of inspiration, which he generally translates through stencils. His creations are usually wrapped in a clear tone of irony and social criticism, almost always tinged with dark humour or surrealism.
Alongside his street work, he experiments in his studio with street art techniques combined with more traditional elements, such as acrylics and oils on wood, allowing him to take his canvas-based creations a step further through a more refined and elaborate process.
He currently lives in London, where he produces most of his work. He has taken part in numerous festivals, exhibitions and projects, and enjoys leaving a piece of his work behind in the cities he passes through.
