After a season dedicated to championing vinyl culture in Ibiza, 33SELECT45 is preparing a special Closing Session on Thursday, October 8, at 666 Playa d’en Bossa – Ryans Ibiza.
The event will kick off at 2:00 PM with an Open Decks session for DJs looking for the chance to step behind the decks and take part in the final gathering of the season.
Under the motto “Your vinyl. Your moment. Apply now.”, the open call aims to discover new selectors and give a platform to those who continue to believe in music selection, technique, and the physical format. The Open Decks will run from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, turning the Selectors booth into a meeting point for DJs and vinyl lovers for seven hours.
DJs interested in taking part can apply by emailing a SoundCloud profile or link to a recorded set to jaime.irles@gruporamat.com. From all applications received by September 27, eight finalists will be selected and given the opportunity to showcase their skills in the booth. The top three performers will then be chosen, with each receiving promotional support from Fiesta&Bullshit magazine.
The music will continue from 9:00 PM with special guest Carlos Willengton, who will bring the season to a close with a two-hour set running through 11:00 PM.
A SEASON CHAMPIONING VINYL CULTURE IN IBIZA
Selectors was born from a simple idea: to put music, selection, and technique back at the heart of the DJ booth. It is a concept built around DJs working with records and turntables, moving away from sync, USBs, and other digital conveniences.
Throughout the season, the terrace at 666 Playa d’en Bossa – Ryans Ibiza has become a space dedicated to that philosophy, welcoming a range of guest DJs to a booth equipped with Technics turntables and reconnecting with an approach to DJing deeply rooted in the history of electronic music.
October 8 will mark the final gathering of 2026, but this time, part of the spotlight will be on the other side of the booth: on the DJs ready to step up and showcase their selection behind the decks.
